Nursery 13th April 2015

13th Apr 2015

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back after the Easter holidays. Here In Nursery we are very excited as we have some new children in the classes. We hope they will all settle in well and enjoy their very first term with us! We have very much enjoyed having them with us and hope they have enjoyed their first week!

Our question this term is does every picture tell a story? In Nursery we shall be looking at traditional tales. This week we have been focussing on 'Goldilocks and the three bears'. The children have enjoyed dressing up like the bears whilst playing in their cottage. They also liked pretending to make porridge for the three bears. Some of it has been too hot, some of it has been too cold and some of it has been just right!
I wonder who will live in the cottage next week?

Here are some clues:
-They cook in a cauldron
-They like cats
-They wear pointy hats

Also, as the weather has been so nice this week, the children have had a wonderful time spending the majority of the morning/afternoon playing in our outdoor area. They have been painting letters/objects with water, developing their hand eye coordination skills and taking turns with the resources.
